Our Classes

Classes are grouped predominately to accomodate similar learning styles and, more loosely, students’ ages and developmental stage.  Students become familiar with class routines and key staff, and may remain in the same class grouping for varied amounts of time.  The move into another class follows consultation with parents and transition is carefully planned to enable students to adjust as necessary.

Whilst each class has a team of staff, movement between groups is encouraged to enable all staff to get to know each student in order to provide best possible support throughout the school day, including break times and lunch.
